Here is the correct information that I do understand from official site.
- Biomatric is exempted from people who are applying within Canada
- At one point it says that the people who are applying outside Canada are also eligible but there is another thing.
- There are travel restriction in place to travel to Canada so even if you have valid visas, you can’t travel.
- If you fall under the necessary list of essential travel then only on visitor or any other temporary visa one can travel.
The Title is:
“Bio metrics exemption for temporary residence applicants in Canada”The first line under the above heading is
“As a temporary measure, you’re exempt from giving bio metrics if you’re applying from within Canada”And the last line says.
“This temporary measure does not apply if you’re outside Canada.”
Conclusion: It is bit confusing and as far as I know they are allowing only essential travel at the moment. We already have placed application on 19, March 2020 if that’s true and the student will be given visa then we will update soon on our site that. So far we have not means to say that this is valid of study permit application within India
